Learn to create your own pair of wool sheepskin “Cabin Slippers”! In this 2-part workshop, you will learn how to make a pair of handmade wool sheepskin (AKA shearling) slippers from start to finish. No previous experience is necessary, and we will provide all materials and supplies.

You will start by choosing your sheepskin colors, then we will trace and cut out our patterns, cut a durable leather sole, hammer the stitching holes into the pattern pieces, and hand-stitch them together to assemble the slippers.

Last but not least, you will have the option to add a collage of colorful shearling on top of your slippers. This part is optional; you can also leave your slippers unadorned if you want to keep it minimal! You’ll leave with a pair of handmade, customized, super warm slippers that will last through many chilly seasons.

This workshop is beginner-friendly. We will be using sharp scissors to cut out our patterns, and a hammer, and small metal hand tools, so you’ll need to be comfortable gripping tools, hammering, and hand-stitching.
